Golfers mark Sunday 5 October in your diaries. MEG and the Coromandel Golf Club are holding the first ever Save Kiwi Week Golf Tournament.
The tournament will be held at Coromandel Golf Club. A $25 entry fee will include a light meal, with all proceeds going to kiwi protection. There’ll also be some amazing prizes up for grabs.
It costs roughly $100 to protect a kiwi in the wild for an entire year. Our goal is to grow kiwi numbers to carrying capacity on the Coromandel peninsula. Together we can make Coromandel Real Kiwi Country.
Join us for a fun day of golf and prizes. We’ve secured some fantastic prizes including a round of golf at Lakes Resort in Pauanui, Icebreaker and Earth Sea Sky clothing, meal vouchers for local restaurant The Pepper Tree, a complimentary berth at Gulf Harbour Marina combined with meal vouchers at Ripples Cafe in Gulf Harbour, a relaxation weekend at Mana Retreat Centre, an all day couples swim at The Lost Spring Hot pools and much more.
For golfers coming from out of town, our local accomodation providers are offering some great deals. Coromandel Top 10 Holiday Park and Anchor Lodge are both offering a 10% discount on accommodation for two nights. Just mention ‘golf’ when you book. Or book with Abbey Court Motel for just $40 per night per person. What better excuse to make a weekend of it, and enjoy all the Coromandel has to offer.
Spots are limited so get in quick! To register a place or for more info email email@example.com
