October is Save Kiwi Month- a chance to put the spotlight on kiwi conservation. Come along to an event during October to support local kiwi protection.

3 Oct: Make sure your dog is kiwi-trained

Kiwi Avoidance Training will be happening at Coroglen on Saturday 3 October.  The training is a simple tool to help reduce the threat your dog poses to kiwi. The training is free and only takes 10 minutes. So book in and train your dog to avoid kiwi! For more information or to book call 867 9080

11 Oct: Movie Night at Moon Coromandel

Come down to Moon Coromandel hair salon on Sunday 11 October for a magical night of family cinema. Gold coin entry. All proceeds will help save kiwi. Refreshments available. BYO something to sit on and drink.

Avatar, 5pm. (PG 13). Adventure, fantasy.

Sleeping Dogs, 8pm (PG) Action, thriller. 

24 Oct: Giant kiwi Sculpture Unveiling, Port Charles

Join us on Saturday 24 October for a ribbon-cutting ceremony as we unveil our iconic giant kiwi sculpture at Port Charles. 2pm, Carey Rd turn-off, Port Charles Rd. Following in the footsteps of Paeroa’s unmissable L&P bottle, the kiwi will welcome visitors to ‘real kiwi country’ and raise the visibility of our national icon.
