Visiting the Coromandel over January? Come and experience nature first hand with activities for all ages & abilities

Our 2016 Summer Programme is the best yet, with an exciting line-up of nature activities for all ages and abilities. It runs from 2 January- 21 February. Our Summer Programme offers kiwis and visitors alike the chance to experience and enjoy Coromandel’s natural treasures guided by local volunteers keen to share their passion and knowledge.

This year we are offering overnight trips to Cuvier Island. A rare chance to explore and stay on this usually off-limits predator free island, observe resident endangered species and learn about the island’s fascinating history. Numbers are limited so book quick to reserve a spot. Other activities include Meet a Gecko, Starlight Cinema, Fun with Flax, Upclose Kiwi Encounters, Nocturnal Walks, a Family Fun Run and Kiwi Avoidance Training for dogs. Join us for an unforgettable encounter with nature these holidays.

The programme has been running for over fourteen years and all funds raised go towards the protection of kiwi on the Northern Coromandel. The team at Moehau Environment Group look forward to meeting you soon.
